How can I shop online?

  • Go to our website  https://fastlanebooks.co.ke/
  • Locate the product by searching using the Search bar at the top of each page or browsing through the Categories.
  • Once you locate the item, click ‘Add to Cart’.
  • If you wish to shop for more items, click ‘Continue Shopping’.
  • Once satisfied with shopping, click ‘Continue to Secure Checkout’.
  • Before you check out, confirm the items in your basket.
  • Fill in your Shipping details, e.g. Name, Contacts, address, etc.
  • Select your preferred Payment method.
  • Confirmation message will pop up via email or SMS from the website and the payment platform. The items are normally delivered within 12 hrs. From receiving payment unless otherwise advised by the customer.

Can I shop on the website without registering my account?

  • Yes, you can shop on https://fastlanebooks.co.ke/ website as a registered user or guest. When you shop as a registered user, you don’t have to enter your details again when you come back next time. You may also choose to check out as a guest, but the website will forget your details once you check out.

Where are deliveries done?

  • Deliveries are made anywhere in Kenya (via various cargo couriers), depending on the customer’s preferred choice.

How much do you charge for delivery?

  • We also offer deliveries via cargo Courier, which is a premium service. All deliveries via Courier are charged KES 500 up to 5 kg regardless of the total cart amount. If the cart is more than 5 kg, a charge of KES 30 will be added for every extra kg.

 

Where is the Book Trade Kenya Ltd Physical Location?

We are located in the EPCOM Building, 1st floor, shop number 17, along River Road off Ng’ariama Road.

Does Book Trade Kenya Ltd offer genuine products?

Book Trade Kenya Ltd sells only genuine and authentic products. All our IT items, including accessories, come with a warranty. All books, stationery, and art products are new.

Can I request an exchange if the wrong item is delivered or if I make a mistake while buying online?

Yes, you can exchange the item in case of the above two eventualities within 7 days. However, we accept exchanges only if there is proof of purchase, such as bringing an original receipt during purchase.

What happens if I can’t log in or have forgotten my password?

You can easily reset your password by clicking on the ‘My Account’ link at the top right of your browser. Then click on the ‘Forgot Password’ link under the log-in form. Provide the email you used to register on our website, and we’ll send you the password reset link.

If an item is out of stock, how can I get notified when it’s back in stock?

If you get an item out of stock on our website, the product’s ‘Add to cart button will be disabled and replaced with a ‘Notify me’ button. Click on this button and fill in your email address. Once the product is back in stock, the website will email you to notify you that the item is back in stock.

Can I send money to a mobile number to make the payment?

No, you cannot send money to a personal number if you want to make a website purchase. You must follow the correct procedure for buying online (as described here). When you reach the payment page, the website will display your Pay bill Number and generate an account number tied to your cart. You will use this to make payments. You will receive an SMS/email notification on the number/email you supply us.

Can I pay Cash on Delivery?

Yes, we accept cash on delivery.
